Church Street East Filtered Permeability Trial Consultation
Overview
Dublin City Council is proposing a filtered permeability trial on Church Street East, Dublin 3, to address traffic issues in the area.
The proposal is for a filtered permeability trial on Church Street East for six months. Filtered permeability means that pedestrians, cyclists, local access and emergency access can use the street, while cut-through traffic will be prevented. It is likely that this will improve safety on the street and create a more liveable area for residents of Church Street East and the local area.
It is anticipated that the trial can be installed in late 2022 / early 2023 (to be confirmed) if there is support from local residents and stakeholders and will last for six months.
Further details on the proposal are available in the document and sketch available at the bottom of this page.
