NEIC GS - Street Tree Planting - Consultation 2

Overview

Dear Residents,

Thank you to all who attended and provided feedback to the recent consultations held in relation street greening in your area. We are now following up on recent consultations and getting in touch to provide an update on the North East Inner City Greening Strategy and tree planting initiatives that are possible for your street.

The revised drawings have taken into account all the feedback given to date.  

Please see DRAFT layouts attached below for your consideration for the following Streets: 

1. Sherrard Street Lower & Sherrard Avenue 
2. Summer Street North 
3. Portland Street North
4. Russell Street 
5. Belvidere Avenue

Portland Square will have an on-site meeting with the residents to discuss possible future improvements, as agreed during the public consultations. 

Should the final plan receive approval, our aim is to commence the installation during the next planting season, between November 2023 and February 2024.

Note: Proposals developed through public consultations are subject to approval by Dublin City Council: Roads Design and Construction and may be subject to change. Any changes made will be communicated to the relevant stakeholders in advance of any works being carried out.
