Overview

In accordance with Section 11 of the Roads Act 1993 and Section 180 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, Dublin City Council hereby gives notice that it is considering the proposal to initiate Taking in Charge of Connaught Street Lane, Phibsborough, Dublin 7. Due to the proposed development of the site, it is necessary to initiate Taking in Charge of this lane as per the map provided to facilitate the redevelopment of Dalymount Park Stadium.

The lane currently not in Charge, as shown in yellow, can be seen on the attached map reference SM-2018-0684-01.

Why your views matter

The referred lane for Taking in Charge is indicated on a map, which may be inspected at the Cabra Area Office of Dublin City Council, 97 New Cabra Road, Dublin 7, during normal opening hours of 10am - 1pm Monday to Friday from Thursday the 25th of May 2023 for a period of no less than 1 month. The drawing will also be available on the Dublin City Council consultation hub from Thursday the 25th of May 2023 and submissions will be accepted through the hub from Thursday the 25th of May until midnight on Friday the 7th of July 2023.

Any representations or objections, to this proposal, can also be made in writing to the Area Manager, Cabra Area Office, 97 New Cabra Road, Dublin 7 or by email to cabraoffice@dublincity.ie and received no later than 4pm on Friday the 7th of July 2023.

It should be noted; that persons making such written representations or objections may make a request to state their case, at an oral hearing, to that person that has been appointed by the Local Authority for that purpose.
