Closed 23 Mar 2023

Opened 2 Feb 2023

In accordance with Section 73 (1) of the Roads Act 1993 Dublin City Council hereby gives notice that it is considering the proposal to Extinguish the Public Right of Way over a laneway at 63 - 65 Foxhill Avenue, Ayrfield, Donaghmede, Dublin 13.

A request to have the public right of way extinguished was submitted to Dublin City Council's North Central Area Office by the residents who have properties abutting this laneway. The reason why they are requesting the closure of the laneway is to prevent the ongoing issue of anti-social behaviour in the laneway, littering and increased rodent acitivity. This laneway has been blocked by a wall for a number of years and will continue to be the method of closure.

The right of way to be extinguished can be viewed on the attached drawing RM 30870.
