Overview

The Dublin Festival of History is an annual free Festival, brought to you by Dublin City Council, and organised by Dublin City Libraries.

One of the key aims of Dublin City Libraries is to preserve, share, and promote the history and heritage of Dublin and Ireland and to encourage and facilitate historical research.

The Festival has gained a reputation for attracting best-selling Irish and international historians to Dublin for a high-profile festival of history talks and debate
