Overview

PUBLIC CONSULTATION UNDER SECTION 38 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1994

Location: The Hole in the Wall Road Roundabout, Donaghmede, Dublin 13.

Proposed improvements to road crossing facilities for mobility impaired users, pedestrians and cyclists plus improvement to public transport access at The Hole in the Wall Road roundabout.

The proposal includes;

  • Installation of dedicated signalised pedestrian and cyclist crossings on The Hole in the Wall Road and Clarehall Avenue arms of the roundabout,
  • Extension of The Hole in the Wall Road’s inbound bus lane to the roundabout,
  • Improvements to the existing pedestrian crossing at the entrance to Grange Abbey,
  • Improvements to cycle facilities on The Hole in the Wall Road and Clarehall Avenue arms of the roundabout, and,
  • Improvements to existing traffic signal operational infrastructure.

The proposed plans will be available for inspection from Friday 22nd September 2017 to Friday 20th October 2017 at;

  • The public counter, in the atrium of the Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8,
  • Donaghmede Library, Donaghmede Shopping Centre, Grange Road, Dublin 13,
  • Marino Library, 14 – 20 Marino Mart, Fairview, Dublin 3,
  • Raheny Library, Howth Road, Raheny, Dublin 5, and,
  • Coolock Library, Barryscourt Road, Dublin 17.
