UPDATE

Following the Dublin City Council monthly meeting held on the 2nd March 2020 and continued on 10th March 2020 having considered Report No. 77/2020 of the Chef Executive (O. Keegan) - Proposed Variation (No 8 -27) of Dublin City Development Plan 2016-2022, adopted the following resolution:

  “That Dublin City Council adopts Report No. 77/2020 and makes the following Variation (No.  8, 11 – 13, 15 - 24 and 2) to the Dublin City Development Plan 2016 – 2022 as outlined in the report”.  

A total of 283 submissions/observations were received over the consultation period.  Redacted submissions/observations have been made available to view (see below).

Following the Dublin City Council monthly meeting held on the 2nd March 2020 and continued on 10th March 2020 having considered Report No. 77/2020 of the Chef Executive (O. Keegan) - Proposed Variation (No 8 -27) of Dublin City Development Plan 2016-2022, adopted the following resolution:

  “That Dublin City Council adopts Report No. 77/2020 and makes the following Variation (No. 8, 11 – 13, 15 - 24 and 2) to the Dublin City Development Plan 2016 – 2022 as outlined in the report”.  

 

 

 

 

The Dublin City Council Meeting held on Monday 2nd March 2020, has been adjourned to  Tuesday 10th March 2020 at 4pm in the Dublin City Council Chamber to finish consideration of, Agenda Item No. 9, Report No. 77/2020 (Variation No. 8 – 27 to the Dublin City Development Plan 2016 – 2022.

 

Further to this consultation a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment has been prepared and the consultation period extended up to and including Wednesday 22nd January 2020.

It is proposed to vary the Dublin City Development Plan 2016-2022 so that a number of sites currently zoned for primarily industrial uses are brought forward for primarily residential and mixed uses and to add new text to section 14.8.9.
 

Reason: The proposed Variations No.’s 8-27 are to go towards meeting national and regional brownfield development objectives for the city.
