Notice Of Proposed Additions To The Record Of Protected Structures 

In The Dublin City Development Plan 2016 – 2022

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Sections 54 and 55 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) that Dublin  City Council proposes the following additions to the Record of Protected Structures in the Dublin City Development Plan 2016-2022, in respect of the following structures:

Proposed Additions to the Record of Protected Structures:

  • 6 Parkgate Street, Dublin 8
  • 7 Parkgate Street, Dublin 8
  • 8 Parkgate Street, Dublin 8
  • 31 Old Kilmainham, Dublin 8
  • 139-149 North King Street, Dublin 7

The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage has recommended the addition of the above five structures to the Record of Protected Structures.

The particulars of the above proposed additions to the Record of  Protected Structures will be available for inspection on the Dublin City Council website at: http://bit.ly/RPSAdditions2021 and by appointment only at the Public Counter, Planning Registry, Block 4, Ground Floor, Planning & Property Development Department, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8 from Monday – Friday between the hours of 09.00 hrs to 16.30 hrs, from Thursday 14th January 2021 to Wednesday 24th February, 2021 inclusive.

The Conservation Section, Planning & Property Development Department, Block 3, Floor 3, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8 within the above said period (to be received on or before 16.30 hrs on Wednesday 24th February, 2021)

Submissions and observations made within the period detailed above, will be forwarded to the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage and will be taken into consideration before the making of the decision on the proposed additions. 

The Planning process is an open and public one. In that context,  all submissions/observations are a matter of public record and may also be placed on the City Council’s website.
