Lord Mayor's Youth Awards 2021

Closed 21 Apr 2021

Opened 1 Apr 2021

Overview

Since 1989, the Lord Mayor’s Awards have honoured individuals and groups who have made a special contribution to both Dublin and its citizens.  These Awards, usually held annually, are Dublin City’s way of acknowledging and congratulating them for the extraordinary work they do.

This year the Lord Mayor’s Awards will take place monthly and the public will be able to submit nominations for the first time.  Also, this year the Lord Mayor will be presenting youth awards to celebrate outstanding young people between 5 and 18 years of age who have portrayed resilience and leadership during Covid-19.

Lord Mayor, Hazel Chu, will decide the winners and announce them at two Youth Webinars on Thursday, April 29th 2021. The first webinar, from 10am – 10:45am, will focus on the Primary School children, while the afternoon webinar, from 2pm – 3pm, will announce the Secondary School winners.
