Estate Management Consultation

Closed 9 Aug 2021

Opened 2 Jul 2021

Overview

In 2019, Dublin City Council began an extensive review of estate management, culminating in this revised draft strategy.   This strategy contributes to a key strategic goal of Dublin City Council’s Corporate Plan 2020 – 2024, namely:  Safe, Thriving Neighbourhoods.

The power of local authorities to respond to serious and persistent anti-social behaviour by a tenant of a local authority is covered under housing legislation, the most recent of which is the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014.  This strategy lays out our processes and powers to act, taking account of the requirements of the new Act.   Our strategies include prevention, partnership, enforcement and continuous improvement.

The aim of this consultation is to obtain the views of the community on the content of this revised strategy.
