Dublin City Play Strategy 2019 Onwards

(Implementation Strategy For The Dublin City Play Plan)

Aimed At ‘Making Dublin A Child Friendly And Playful City – A Good Place To Play’

Play Led Online Consultation Survey

Dublin City Council (DCC) invites you to join us in developing our up and coming ‘play strategy’ by taking part in an online consultation that will inform and shape the proposed ‘Dublin City Play Strategy’. This new ‘play strategy’ will have a key focus on supporting children and young people ‘playing outside’. This proposed ‘play strategy’ will also be underpinned by Article 31; the child’s right to play, as was  Dublin City Play Plan; Play here, Play there’ Play everywhere’ 2012 – 2017. This will ensure the strategic implementation of the plan from 2017 onwards. Dublin City Council is keen to get as many views as possible so we can try to reflect your wishes/needs within the proposed strategy.

The purpose of this online survey is to form part of a citywide consultation that will support us in gaining information from the city’s citizens but especially children and young people. This will inform and influence an action plan aimed at improving and increasing play opportunities and facilities for children and young people living in and visiting Dublin City. This will also be an opportunity for you to contact DCC if you wish to discuss ‘play’ further. If you would like to share your views about ‘play’ and take part in this online survey please feel free to choose the survey/s that most suits you from the following links:
